OPERATION “UNITY 2: NEW YEAR SALUTE”

Together with UNITED24 and monobank we raised UAH 226 million for 5,000 FPV drones with thermal and daylight cameras and warheads.

The “Come Back Alive” Foundation, together with UNITED24 and monobank, raised over UAH 226,000,000 on December 13–15, 2023, for 5,000 FPV drones, 3,000 of which are equipped with thermal cameras. In addition, a warhead was purchased for each drone — a total of 5,000 shaped-charge and high-explosive fragmentation munitions.

Kamikaze drones with thermal cameras are very effective in winter. Why? Because the daylight hours become shorter, most special operations are conducted at dusk or in darkness, and the contrast between warm and cold objects becomes significantly higher.

That is why such kamikaze drones are now the #1 request from the military. Our goal was to provide these drones to Defense Forces units at the hottest points on the front line — in particular, in the Avdiivka direction and in the Kherson region.

The “Come Back Alive” Foundation transferred 5,050 FPV drones to the Defense Forces, as well as shaped-charge and high-explosive fragmentation munitions. As the total amount raised exceeded the planned UAH 220,000,000, the Foundation purchased an additional 50 drones with components for the military.

UAH 220,754,458 is the total value of the property transferred to the Defense Forces of Ukraine under the project. It was received by 34 military units, including units of the Ground Forces, Air Assault Forces, Territorial Defense Forces, the National Police, brigades of the National Guard and the Marine Corps, as well as fighters of the Security Service of Ukraine. The remaining funds were allocated by “Come Back Alive” to ongoing FPV support for the military.
