The Territorial Defense Forces (TDF) protect Ukraine and get back our territories along the entire front line.

At the onset of the Russian full-scale invasion, the TDF consisted of 31 rapidly formed brigades, staffed primarily by civilian volunteers. Despite their general lack of experience, the TDF played a key role in the early successes of the Ukrainian military. Yet their arsenal was far from sufficient to sustain the required tempo of operations.

With this in mind, we launched the Long Arms of TDF campaign. The project gave the TDF extended-range capabilities. Each brigade received an integrated reconnaissance-strike system with a unified supply system for reconnaissance assets, firepower, communications, mobility, and specialized training provided by the Foundation’s instructors.

The 120 mm mortars were chosen to supplement the existing 60 mm and 82 mm mortars already in service with the TDF and to increase the fire range from 4 km to 7.1 km.

We set the overall fundraising goal at 333 million UAH. Since the TDF are organized on a regional basis, we created an interactive fundraising mechanism that allowed people to support individual brigades from their home oblasts.

Depending on the number of brigades in an oblast, we raised from 10.8 to 32.4 million UAH for each.

Each TDF brigade received a system that includes:

Pickup trucks

Night vision devices

DJI Mavic 3 quadcopters with additional batteries and controllers

Tablets with Armor fire-control software, memory cards, and cases

Uninterruptible power supplies

Inverter generators

Monoculars with reticle and compass

Weather station

**In addition to this, six brigades received 140 tourniquets each, and three brigades received three Starlink satellite communication kits each.
