Come Back Alive Foundation and the Ministry of Health Have Signed Partnership Memorandum

Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko and Director of the "Come Back Alive" Foundation Taras Chmut

The charitable foundation Come Back Alive Foundation and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine have signed a partnership memorandum. The document formalizes their joint intentions to develop inclusive spaces, promote adaptive sports as a means of rehabilitation for veterans, and work to save the lives and health of military personnel.

In 2025, Come Back Alive Foundation together with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs and other partners, established ten veteran care spaces in state hospitals and military medical centers across five regions: Khmelnytskyi, Chernihiv, Chernivtsi, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zhytomyr.

In these spaces, wounded veterans receive social services, learn about educational and grant opportunities, benefits, rehabilitation, and receive psychological support. Thanks to the joint efforts of the foundation and the ministry, these spaces have been renovated, made accessible, and furnished with the necessary furniture and equipment.

The next step is to further deepen cooperation. Together, the Ministry of Health and Come Back Alive Foundation will focus on strengthening emergency medicine and implementing projects that will save the lives of military personnel.

Come Back Alive Foundation primarily focuses on providing the military with necessary infantry weapons, drones, vehicles, and other military equipment. However, it is also actively involved in medical support and rehabilitation. Specifically, the foundation has delivered 24 casevacs to the front lines, established two training centers for combat medics, donated four inclusive vehicles to public and communal organizations assisting veterans, and conducted a study on providing emergency medical assistance to military personnel on the water.

“The priority of Come Back Alive Foundation is the systematic support of the military. Projects aimed at caring for the health of military personnel and veterans, as well as ensuring accessible spaces for them, are an important part of our work. The interests of the military and veterans should be the interests of the state. We are proud to defend this principle side by side with our partners,” — said Oleg Karpenko, Deputy Director of the Come Back Alive Foundation.
