The Foundation has raised over UAH 12 billion to help the Defense Forces
The Come Back Alive Foundation for Competent Assistance to the Army raised over UAH 12 billion to help the Ukrainian Defense Forces from February 24, 2022, to July 11, 2024.
In total, the organization has received more than 3 million donations from supporters. The average donation amount is UAH 3,530.59, including contributions from businesses.
The Foundation used these funds to purchase equipment for the army, in particular:
- 4692 units of collective infantry weapons – grenade launchers, machine guns, mortars;
- 9,976 units of thermal imaging and night optics;
- 1,619 new pickup trucks;
- 25,650 FPV drones;
- 10,521 copters;
- 11 PD-2 reconnaissance systems;
- 28 Leleka-100 unmanned aerial systems;
- 45 Shark unmanned aerial systems;
- Bayraktar TB2 unmanned aerial system.
“UAH 12 billion means 3,398,896 donations, the most frequent of which has been UAH 100 lately. Every day, your 10, 100, 500 UAH to the Come Back Alive accounts become the “brick in the wall” that increases the amount on the counter of contributions to the army from 11 to 12 billion UAH in just 3.5 months,” the Foundation said in a Facebook post. “All these funds have only one goal – to help the Defense Forces stop the enemy invasion every minute, 24/7, and strengthen our soldiers. Every day, your donations are converted into weapons, vehicles, optics, communications, power and thousands of other items that are so much needed at the front.”
The Come Back Alive Foundation has transparent public reporting. Every benefactor can track where the organization spends their money on the website.
The foundation has been helping the army since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war in 2014. Throughout its work, Come Back Alive has never taken a percentage of the total collection to cover administrative expenses. Fundraising for the Defense Forces and fundraising for office rent and staff salaries are completely separate.
