In the last month alone, the occupiers have suffered more than $700 million in losses, attributable to the Black Box. This joint secret project is the result of collaboration between the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, Come Back Alive Foundation for Competent Assistance to the Ukrainian Army, and blogger Ihor Lachenkov.

In April-May 2023, multiple military objects of the occupiers, in both temporarily occupied and enemy territories, experienced the Black Box and its aftermath. These included logistics centers, transport hubs, military equipment storage facilities, personnel quarters, and other targets, as explained by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

The Head of Defence Intelligence Kyrylo Budanov notes that not all information about the Black Box can be made public at the moment. He states,  “This $700 million loss is yet another contribution to reducing the offensive potential of the enemy army, demoralizing their fighting spirit, and leading them to accept defeat in this war”.

Last year, at the request of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Come Back Alive and blogger Ihor Lachenkov, raised 230 million hryvnias for the secret Black Box project. It scaled up on the previous joint classified initiative with Come Back Alive worth 40 million hryvnias.

Since the beginning of 2023, more than 270 million hryvnias have already been raised for the project. This funding has contributed to causing significant damage to the enemy’s defense sector and reducing the number of his troops set to reinforce the occupation contingent.

Overall, since the onset of the full-scale invasion, Come Back Alive has supplied the Defence Intelligence with aid worth more than 1 billion hryvnias. This includes the Bayraktar TB2 strike unmanned complex, valued at 16.5 million dollars, which consists of the following:

— a friend-or-foe identification system;

In May 2023, Come Back Alive also announced that they had equipped a mobile intelligence station for the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine. The total cost of the project exceeds 41 million UAH.
