«Come Back Alive» raised over 5 billion hryvnias to support the Ukrainian army
The charity foundation «Come Back Alive» collected more than 5,000,000,000 hryvnias (~140 million US dollars) since the beginning of the russian full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022. This money was raised to help Ukrainian defenders with protective equipment, night vision optics, aerial reconnaissance, training, and weapons.
It’s like the entire defense budget of Ukraine for 2004 or 2.5 of the defense budget of Moldova for 2022. This money would be enough to pave the road from Kyiv to the front-line town of Izyum (~590 km) with 100-hryvnia bills.
We were raising 245 hryvnias (~7 US dollars) per second or 145 hryvnias (~4 US dollars) from each citizen of Ukraine.
The «Come Back Alive» Foundation provided communication equipment to 150 battalions by transferring 14,837 radios to the Ukrainian defenders. Also, we bought and handed over to the military 3,736 thermal imaging optics and covered the 100 divisions’ needs.
With the support of our benefactors, the Foundation purchased 514 cars and 11 armored vehicles for Ukrainian Army. Every fifth UAV on the frontline is from the «Come Back Alive». We bought 3,311 quadcopters and 141 unmanned aerial systems, including the Bayraktar TB2 complex and 11 Ukrainian reconnaissance unmanned complexes PD2.
In addition, the Defense Forces of Ukraine received six 9K38 Igla MANPADS simulators. 2,000 Ukrainian soldiers have already been trained on them.
Since February, about 4,000 warriors have been trained by the Foundation’s instructors in aerial reconnaissance, sapper work, and shooting from covered positions. Ukrainian infantry units received 1,989 tablets with the «Armor» soft. This app allows them to shoot grenade launchers, mortars, combat vehicles, and other weapons more safely and accurately.
We feel incredible gratitude and responsibility to every benefactor. Every donation counts, whether a few hryvnias or millions to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Together we have been strengthening the Army since 2014 and will do so until the victory of Ukraine in the Russo-Ukrainian war and even after.
«Сome Back Alive» was created in 2014. We have systematically helped the Ukrainian Army since the beginning of the Russo-Ukrainian war in 2014. Since then and until February 24, 2022, benefactors have entrusted the Foundation with more than 281.6 million hryvnias (~10 million US dollars) for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
